Hey there! Like tho other posters I’m curious if there will be any additional posting. Looks like the book is out, but the audio is yet to be finished? Would love to give a listen, I’ve heard good reviews.

I have enjoyed the story immensely so far and I’m sure the ending will be just as delightful. I am looking forward to hearing it. I see there has been a long delay in the release of episodes, I hope you are well Paulette, and that you will be able to continue podcasting in the future.

  • Can you give us any indication of when the next episode is going to drop? Has the podcast come to a halt so you can focus on publishing it with Dragon Moon? I totally understantd, I just would love an update to give me some hope of when the next episode of my favorite current Podiobook will post. I love this book, and the characters have been stuck in one place in my mind for so long! :)

BTW – LOVE IT! It really is wonderful to listen to and I would even love to READ it. (Once it’s done of course)
Please keep on keeping on!! Thanks!

…How often do you update? only once a month or things just slow right now? I just find it a little taxing to never know when to check back…. any suggestions?

  • Excellent episode! I enjoyed it very much, I didn’t even know that there was a new one out, but every time I pass The Empress Sword in iTunes, I right click and select Update Podcast. To my immense joy yesterday, this new episode started downloading and I got to listen to it on my commute home. I’m glad you’re going with quality rather than spitting the episodes out as fast as possible, we appreciate the great quality you put into this podcast, it’s worth the wait! Keep up the great work, I look forward to episode 15 :)

True, but consider how Aster is being presented. No large coterie, no adult advisers, no attendants, nothing to suggest royalty. Just a few companions one of which is an ex-guards captain. She’s dressed in oversized, dirty battle garments that probably look like they were stolen off a battlefield corpse. The girl presents no proof of her claims to royalty and despite her foreign looks speaks like any member of the King’s own court. If not for the 40 ton fire breathing dragon she seems to have at her beck and call, the King might have otherwise thrown her out the gate (the dungeon is full of vegetables).

  • I must say, I’m not impressed with the way the King of Caledon receives an unknown, visiting dignitary from a foreign land. He sounds like a good father, but a diplomat? (Granted, this is the reverse of how most kings appear to approach life.)
